The MCSE certification has been around for many years now in its various incarnations
although it has been upgraded several times when either new platforms or technologies
have been developed for it. As this soon occurs then many people will also look
at upgrading their MCSE credentials as well but rather than having to spend
hundreds of dollars on purchasing yet more books to help with the preparation
for their exams they prefer wherever possible to get them for free. But just
where should one look for free MCSE certification books?
I suppose the best place to start looking for anything free that you want in
order to prepare you for your exams is the internet or even go to your local
library. However, with the local library you may well need to return them to
them after a certain number of weeks. Or you may well want to discuss with them
whether there is any possibility of you having them for an extended period of
time just until you have passed your MCSE certification exams.

specifically deal with all aspects of MCSE training and exam preparation. However,
some of the free books you may find are very old and so will not be of any use

Although, you may find that you will need to wait for several days before the
actual book is ready for you to download.
Certainly training to become a qualified MCSE is expensive - the exams alone
cost around $100 each and the books can cost between $40 and $90. But if you
want there is a site where you can not only get all these books for free by
using an online library which has been set up by the publishers of Windows 2000
Magazine. You will often find that the free MCSE certification books they offer
are ones which haven't even been released for general sale. Which means that
you will be first in the queue when it comes to getting the latest news and
